Betty Kyallo set to make her TV comeback

Since leaving KTN News in 2018 where she hosted Friday Briefing Show alongside anchoring news, Betty Kyallo is set to make her prime-time tv comeback on KTN as soon as Sunday March 7th.

The Standard Media Group will have an entertainment show that Betty alongside the president of Comedy Africa Eric Omondi, airing on KTN Home. These announcements came from an Instagram post with the caption, “Told you it wasn’t for long. I am so blessed. Grateful to God,” and a tweet, “Oh Hey! See you Very Soon. March 7th,” by Betty Kyallo in a picture standing outside the Standard Media Group headquarters along Mombasa Road.


Eric Omondi also shared footage of Kyallo with him in a boat at Lake Victoria on Instagram captioned “7th March.”

Betty Kyallo has been focusing on building her social media presence with her YouTube channel, Betty Kyallo Lately and was voted as one of the top social media influencers in Kenya 2020. In addition, she opened her new barber shop, After Shave by Flair last week in Upper Hill. This becomes the latest addition to her luxurious beauty enterprise which will set you back KSH. 800 for a haircut.

Betty was last on-screen while at K24 where she anchored the news and two human interest shows on Friday and Saturday evening. She worked at Media Max Limited for two years and left after the company directed them to take pay-cuts due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
